This is a very wide subject area with many topic threads. However, it is a very important issue and Joy Smith, an MP from Kildonan- St. Paul, British Columbia has been working on a Canadian national action plan to help deal with the issues. Children and adults are being sold into the sex trade both within our borders and outside of them. It is an international problem and one that needs improvements to the Canadian policy.
Yesterday, (Oct.3,2011) Ms. Smith introduced Bill C-310, a private member’s bill to amend the Criminal Code of Canada.
